For several years now, Mrs. Laurel Pointer, one of our Athletic Directors wife, has paired up with the Lady Jaguars and the Susan B. Komen Foundation (for whom she has worked with for over 20+ years) to bring awareness to our young ladies as well as the community in regards to breast cancer.

On several occasions, Mrs. Pointer has come out to games to set up booths to talk to the girls about the importance of self awareness and taking care of their bodies.

Just last year, she brought an Ex-Olympian and breast cancer survivor to talk to the Lady Jags and share her remarkable story about resilience and never giving up.

Mrs. Pointer is a loved member of our Lady Jaguar family who is now on the other side of this battle. Just recently, Mrs. Pointer became diagnosed with breast cancer and needs our support, love and prayers more than ever.

Our Lady Jaguars would like to take this time to let Mrs. Laurel know that she is in our thoughts and prayers and has the entire Jaguar community supporting her just like she has done for us in years past.
Although the road ahead will be scary we will be right here to cheer her on!
